Once the site of an outdated motel, CenterCal Properties purchased the highly visible site for a mixed-use shopping center conveniently located adjacent to the I-5 freeway. The development includes three anchor buildings and two small retail shop buildings. Reminiscent of a Tuscan farmhouse, heavy timber and brick veneer was used throughout the design. The center was built using concrete tilt-up, while the shop buildings were built with steel studs, open web steel joists and steel deck. Situated on a severely restricted site, significant retaining walls were used along the front of the development.
