Project Description

Colwood Industrial Park

Size: 48-acres  |  Location: Portland, OR |  Client: Trammell Crow Company

Working with the developer, Trammell Crow, the Trust for Public Land and The City of Portland, the 138-acre property was rezoned to accommodate 48-acres for industrial development. The remaining 90-acres, which is bisected by the Columbia Slough, will feature a nine-hole golf course, open space, wetlands and forested areas.  The City has constructed the golf course and is in the process of creating a park for the Cully Neighborhood and will be completing the natural resource enhancement and reforestation mitigation in the Spring of 2016.

The site was sold prior to constructing the two speculative buildings originally designed for the developer. It will now be the future home of the United States Postal Service Distribution Center. This project included site preparation for construction, erosion control and site utilities, as well as obtaining approval of all land use and construction permits with the local, state, and federal jurisdictions and permit approvals for site development. This project borders the Portland International Airport.
