VLMK began as a structural engineering firm.  Today, we continue to build on that foundation, providing structural and civil consulting engineering services to a broad range of architectural clients.  Our focus on providing creative design solutions with an eye toward detail and critical timelines has made our company one of the best in the industry.

We have provided structural design services for a large range of market sectors with significant use of wood, steel, masonry, concrete, tilt-up and light-gauge construction types.  Our civil engineering projects have largely focused on the needs of building construction, including site design, storm water management and treatment, and public infrastructure including street improvements, sidewalks and tree plantings.
