ORIGINAL JOE'S DELI
PORTLAND, OR

The Original Joe's Deli projects are located at 102nd and Halsey and Hayden Island in Portland, Oregon. The 102nd and Halsey location consists of a new, three tenant, 5,000 square foot masonry building that houses commercial tenants in addition to the Original Joe's Deli. The building features a unique diamond shaped floor plan. The project at the Hayden Island location (shown), across the street from the Jantzen Beach shopping center, consists of two, auger cast pile supported masonry buildings of 2,000 and 5,800 square feet.

BAJA FRESH RESTAURANTS
VARIOUS LOCATIONS

The Baja Fresh Mexican Grill projects are located in Washington, Oregon, and Ohio. Scope varies from project to project, ranging from tenant improvements to significant building remodels. The Lake Oswego project was a complete remodel to an existing Skippers restaurant. Work included a new tower element, vestibule, solarium seating area and a complete rework of the existing roof framing system.

STARBUCKS
VARIOUS LOCATIONS

Approximately 50 Starbucks locations have been completed to date. Typical improvements include mechanical unit support from the ceiling for barista machines, structural evaluation of the existing roof or floor structure above to adequately support interior loads, and exterior signage support. Nearly all projects have required flexibility and responsiveness from the VLMK team to meet tight construction schedules.
