Schlitterbahn Water Park

This popular attraction features a tidal wave river ride approximately one mile long.  VLMK provided structural design for a 48,500 square foot retractable cover at this water theme park.  The design features a continuous series of single story A-frame structures of retractable 10 foot polycarbonate curtains.  Our design was put to the test during Hurricane Katrina's high wind conditions and held up very well.
