Both economy and beauty were provided in this innovative project.  This 92,000 square foot class "A" office building was an immediate success for the client.  Roof and floor framing consists of open web steel joists.  Floor construction is concrete slab-on-grade at the main floor and concrete on metal deck at the upper levels.  Lateral resistance for the structure, as well as bearing support, is provided by the exterior concrete tilt-up panels.  This project posed challenging grading and onsite stormwater run-off quality issues.  VLMK designed a detention pond which discharged into Fanno Creek.
