Gresham Station Medical Office Building

A beautiful clerestory entrance welcomes patients to the Gresham Station Medical Office Building.  The complex is actually two buildings, joined together by the entrance feature.  One building is three stories tall, while the other is two stories.  Situated a stone's throw from the transit station and along the main thoroughfare, the complex is centrally located.  The buildings sit partially on a basement retaining wall foundation due to the steep grade of the site.  The buildings were built with concrete tilt-up construction utilizing open web steel joists and concrete over steel deck floors.  VLMK worked with the tenant to accommodate their special needs including reduction of vibrations for sensitive equipment.  Additionally, reinforcing was revised to accommodate MRI Equipment specifications.  Large HVAC systems are supported on the roof with mechanical screens.
