Central City Street Car Maintenance Facility – Portland, OR
Located in Portland, Oregon, the Central City Streetcar maintenance facility is a full-service garage for the City of Portland's street cars and vintage trolleys. The project site under the I-405 Bridge presented unique challenges due to the limited height and bridge pier clearances, combined with maneuvering limitations for vehicle access to the maintenance bays. The facility features two internal bays with pits, hydraulic vehicle lifts, overhead cranes, mezzanine access to the top of cars, an outside wash area and support offices.
Washington County Maintenance Facility – Hillsboro, OR
Located in Hillsboro, Oregon, construction coordination services were provided for this essential facility, owned by Washington County. The primary structure consists of a two-story concrete tilt-up office building. Additionally, the facility includes several engineered metal buildings to be used for heavy equipment repair, auto repair, car and truck washing, equipment storage, and sand storage. All buildings consisted of tilt-up concrete wainscot panels. Additionally, several buildings include equipment lifts and equipment pits.
Truckstell – Portland, OR
VLMK served as the Prime Consultant for this 69,055 square foot specialty vehicle assembly plant. The facility features 16,300 square feet of group installation shop with mezzanine and cranes, a 6,200 square foot accessory installation shop, 15,500 square feet of office and display area, and 39,960 square feet of parts warehouse mezzanine.
Roadmaster – Vancouver, WA
This facility provides the manufacturing and installation of Recreational Vehicle accessories including suspension systems, towing hook-ups, tires and wheels. The project was designed in two phases. The first phase was completed in 2009 and was comprised of 76,000 square feet of manufacturing area and 10,000 square feet of office space. Phase Two will provide an additional 60,000 square feet of manufacturing space and 20,000 square feet of office.
