St. Johns Mini – Portland, OR

The project is located at the gateway to the historic Saint Johns neighborhood.  The project is a mixed-use development with two buildings and includes a three-story, 72,000 square foot, self storage facility as well as 7,000 square feet of commercial use.  The buildings are designed to complement the existing industrial and commercial character of the area with separate entrances and a jogged façade which creates small courtyards that would interact with the sidewalk and pedestrian circulation.  The stormwater for this site was routed to water quality swales and to underground storage chamber for infiltration.

Damascus Mini – Damascus, OR

Located on Old Barn Lane in Damascus, Oregon, this multi building mini storage facility was designed to complement the adjacent neighborhood character.  The facility features five separate buildings including an on-site two-story manager's residence.  The office and residence is designed in a farmhouse style.  VLMK designed a stormwater detention system using an underground pipe system.

Hood River Mini – Hood River, OR

This multiple building mini storage facility features five separate buildings and an on-site two-story manager's residence.  The project also included a 6,000 square foot real estate office.

Gresham Mini – Gresham, OR

Four building mini-storage complex provide 84,000 square feet of storage space and a two-story office and manager's residence as well as 40 covered RV storage spaces and 450 self-storage units.  The office/manager's apartment is designed to complement adjacent residential uses.
