Kevin Kaplan, Vice President

Kevin is a Principal with VLMK Consulting Engineers with over 20 years of experience.  He also serves as the company's Vice President.  His primary responsibilities include structural engineering and project management of retail, commercial, industrial, residential, and religious building projects as a consultant to architectural clients.  Kevin takes pride in establishing and developing quality relationships with his clients.  This philosophy and striving to provide exemplary service has cultivated long-term working relationships with many repeat clients.  Kevin is currently licensed in 15 states.

In addition to being a member in several professional organizations, Kevin is also actively involved in the Structural Engineering Association of Oregon (SEAO) organization.  He is currently serving on the SEAO Board of Directors as Treasurer and Emergency Response committee.  In past years he has served as Director and Secretary.

Kevin and his family are actively involved in their church and their daughter's sporting activities.  He is currently a coach on his youngest daughter's softball team.  Kevin and his family also enjoy traveling overseas.
