Chris Palmateer, Principal

Chris is a Principal with VLMK Consulting Engineers.  His primary responsibilities include project management of industrial, commercial and institutional buildings.  Chris has an extensive background in structural engineering design and analysis of structural steel, reinforced concrete, reinforced masonry and wood structures.  He also has experience in the planning and design of industrial parks ranging in size from 5 to 100 acres throughout the United States.  He is an excellent communicator and has worked on complex multi-million dollar, multi-phased projects and prides himself on the repeat business that he receives from clients who have enjoyed his skills and expertise.  Chris gets things done!

Chris is very actively involved in his family's activities, including coaching both his boys' soccer and baseball teams.  Chris also serves as the Assistant Varsity Coach for a local area high school soccer team.
